
Club members, locals, fans - welcome back to the Kewsletter.
As the new (possibly underwater) season is starting to creep towards us, we hope you are all well and have started filling out your availabilities in the Pitchero App between heavy showers.
The club has been busy over the winter with social members regularly warming up the Pavilion for Brentford fixtures, the women’s side leading the way in their local Indoor Softball tournament and winter nets starting up in Latymer School.
We also now have a monthly feature in the Kew Life magazine, copies are in the pavilion if you want to take a look (thanks Lizzie!). If you have any interesting stories from historic Kew matches or players, we are always looking for topics to add and even guest writers if you fancy a go.
We are always looking out for new members - maybe a link to this fantastically written newsletter can be shared with others as the starting point to a chat about Kew?

AGM this Friday
Just a reminder that the AGM is this Friday evening (27th) at 7.30 at the club. Please come along to discuss the club's plans for the year.
The only contested post is the 3s captaincy between Jonny and Nas.
Voting will take place during the meeting. If you cannot make the meeting but want to vote please email your vote to shanemacdermott@gmail.com and cc raj@rajpatelcricket.co.uk BEFORE 6.30pm on Friday 27th. This will give us time to collate the votes prior to the meeting.
As per the club’s constitution, only paid up playing members from last season are entitled to vote.
Sunday Morning Junior cricket is back at Kew - Sunday, 19th April 10am to 12pm.
We’re looking forward to another exciting season of junior cricket at Kew CC – and we’d love to see your child involved again this year!
Sessions begin on Sunday 19th April and run through every Sunday until the 19th of July.

Membership renewals - renewal window now open
To ensure you can be picked for our sides this year, and retain access to the c. 15% discount on drinks at the bar, please renew your membership as soon as possible.

Membership prices are expected to remain in line with last year:
If you renew your membership, please keep hold of your membership cards. These will remain in place if you continue and reset with your first use at the bar.
Any changes agreed on at the AGM will be communicated and we will be in touch if payments already made.
New members will be able to play their first game without payment. But will need to purchase membership before selection for further fixtures.
Grounds Day Saturday morning, 18th April
Please come down for a couple of hours to help set the club up for the new season. The more that come down, the quicker it will be. Might even be a chance for a Saturday net if the weather turns up.
There is the umpires room to sort, clubhouse and kitchen to tidy, covers to set up and side screens to build.
Pre-season fixtures and season starting dates!
We have three pre-season Saturday friendlies booked in.
Sunday fixtures start on the 19th of April. We also have a few T20s booked in through the summer and we are building of Women's fixture list.
The league season starts for the 1s to 4s on Saturday, 9th May.
Start filling in your availabilities on the Pitchero App as soon as possible.

Winter Nets
Winter nets are still running each Sunday up to the 17th of March at Latymer School in Chiswick.
1pm to 3pm - all are welcome.
